Position Description
Our client is a leading provider of Building Automation, Lighting and Security Systems is seeking a Highly Motivated Sales Professional for its operations in the Columbus, Ohio Area and surrounding markets.
Responsibilities
The primary responsibility will be to successfully market and sell CSUSA product lines, see below, for new construction and building renovation opportunities in the market. Primary focus will be Consulting Engineers, in addition to Mechanical Contractors, End Use Customers and Building Owners. Other responsibilities include:
· Assist consultants in preliminary design of projects and prepare technical specifications
· Utilize a consultative sales approach to sell the benefits of CSUSA and our product lines to the Mechanical/Electrical Engineering Community.
· Call on and develop relationships with the contracting community including General Contractors, Mechanical Contractors, and Electrical Contractors to promote the benefits of working with CSUSA.
· Actively listen and probe to identify customer concerns, needs, and objectives.
· Capable of generating timely high-quality estimates, sales proposals, and cost analysis.
· Use financial selling skills model to show potential customers the benefit of CSUSA maintenance value.
· Responsible for developing sales and activities plans and working with Sales Manager to review and execute those plans and objectives.
· Prospecting, qualifying and targeting new customers to continually increase sales opportunities.
· Provide manager/supervisor a monthly list of all sales plans, activities, and results.
· Maintain and updating sales funnel activity on a continuous basis.
· Selling system expansions to existing customers and generating new business and retrofit opportunities.
Requirements
The Candidate must have good verbal and written communication skills and shall be capable of producing and presenting professional proposals. Candidate must also have strong planning, organization, prospecting, qualifying, cold calling, negotiation and closing skills and capable of calling on all levels of management within an organization. The ideal candidate would have a four-year college degree in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering with experience in HVAC systems, Temperature Controls, Mechanical and Electrical systems, & good computer skills. Experience and knowledge of Commercial Energy Management and Energy Analysis is a plus.
