Position Overview:

As a PLC & Automation Engineer with our client, you will play a pivotal role in enhancing our construction processes with your expertise in programmable logic controllers (PLC) and automation systems. The ideal candidate will bring a wealth of experience in the automotive industry, coupled with proficiency in Human Machine Interface (HMI) and Supervisory Control and Data Acquisition (SCADA) systems.

Responsibilities:

• Design, program, and implement PLC-based control systems to optimize construction processes.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate automation solutions into construction projects.
• Provide technical support for the installation and maintenance of automation systems.
• Develop and implement HMI and SCADA applications for real-time monitoring and control.
• Conduct system troubleshooting and resolve issues to ensure uninterrupted operations.
• Stay updated on industry trends and emerging technologies to drive continuous improvement.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Automation, or a related field.
• 10 plus years of proven experience as a PLC & Automation Engineer, preferably in the manufacturing or automotive sectors.
• In-depth knowledge of PLC programming languages, such as ladder logic and structured text.
• Proficiency in designing and implementing HMI and SCADA systems.
• Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
• Excellent communication and collaboration abilities.
