What You Will Be Doing

Our client is seeking an experienced and innovative Production Manager to lead their team of skilled sheet metal shop workers. With a commitment to delivering high-quality products and leveraging cutting-edge technology, they are dedicated to providing excellence to their customers.

The Ideal Candidate

• Supervise and lead a team of 25 to 35 sheet metal shop workers, providing guidance, support, and fostering a collaborative work environment.
• Ensure adherence to safety protocols, quality standards, and production schedules.
• Utilize expertise in Revit, BIM (Building Information Modeling), and AutoCAD to enhance the efficiency of design and fabrication processes.
• Collaborate with engineering teams to ensure seamless integration of technology into fabrication workflows.
• Develop and implement production plans to meet project deadlines and customer requirements.
• Collaborate with project managers to schedule and prioritize sheet metal and piping fabrication tasks.
• Oversee quality control measures to ensure the production of high-quality sheet metal and piping components.
• Implement continuous improvement initiatives to enhance product quality and efficiency.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including engineering, procurement, and project management, to ensure effective communication and project coordination.
• Provide regular updates on production progress and address any issues or concerns promptly.

Other Essential Functions

• Proven experience as a Production Manager in a sheet metal and piping fabrication environment.
• Strong leadership skills with the ability to motivate and inspire a diverse team.
• In-depth knowledge of sheet metal fabrication processes and procedures.
• Familiarity with piping fabrication and industry standards.
• Proficiency in Revit, BIM, and AutoCAD for design and fabrication processes.
• Excellent organizational and problem-solving skills.
