Job Title: Electrical Project Manager - Construction

Overview:
We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Electrical Project Manager to join our dynamic construction team. As an Electrical Project Manager, you will play a crucial role in overseeing and managing electrical projects from conception to completion. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in electrical systems, project management, and construction processes.

Responsibilities:

  • Lead and manage electrical projects, ensuring they are executed within budget, on schedule, and in compliance with quality and safety standards.
  • Collaborate with internal teams, clients, and subcontractors to define project requirements, goals, and deliverables.
  • Develop detailed project plans, including timelines, resource allocation, and cost estimates, and ensure effective project communication throughout all phases.
  • Coordinate and oversee the installation, testing, and commissioning of electrical systems, ensuring adherence to project specifications and industry regulations.
  • Conduct regular site inspections to monitor progress, identify potential issues, and implement corrective measures as needed.
  • Manage relationships with suppliers and subcontractors, negotiating contracts, and ensuring timely delivery of materials and services.
  • Provide technical expertise and support to project teams, resolving engineering and design challenges effectively.
  • Prepare and present project status reports to stakeholders, highlighting key milestones, risks, and recommended actions.
  • Stay abreast of industry trends, technological advancements, and best practices in electrical construction to enhance project efficiency and effectiveness.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Construction Management, or a related field.
  • Proven experience as an Electrical Project Manager in the construction industry.
  • Strong knowledge of electrical systems, codes, and regulations.
  • Excellent project management skills, with the ability to multitask and prioritize effectively.
  • Solid understanding of construction processes, including scheduling, budgeting, and quality control.
  • Effective communication and leadership skills to foster collaboration within project teams.
  • Proficient in project management software and tools.
  • Commitment to safety and quality standards in construction projects.
