Join our client’s dynamic team as a Mechanical Construction Sales Engineer, driving business growth in commercial and industrial markets across Greater Gaithersburg, MD. They are seeking a proactive and goal-oriented professional to enhance their Mechanical Construction Sales division. As a Sales Engineer, you'll be pivotal in driving business growth, engaging with clients, and delivering high-quality mechanical solutions.

The Ideal Candidate

• Cultivate relationships with potential clients in industrial, commercial, and institutional sectors.

• Conduct needs assessments and tailor solutions to meet client requirements.
• Demonstrate understanding of HVAC systems, plumbing, and related mechanical solutions.
• Effectively communicate technical information to clients.
• Collaborate with project managers for a smooth transition from sales to project implementation.
• Provide ongoing support to clients throughout the project lifecycle.
• Develop and implement strategic plans to achieve revenue targets.
• Collaborate on customized proposals and presentations showcasing our capabilities.
• Stay informed about industry trends, competitor activities, and market developments.
• Analyze market data to identify new business opportunities.

Other Essential Functions

• 3 to 5 years’ experience selling HVAC systems in design-build and plan/spec settings.
• Strong knowledge of industry standards related to mechanical systems.
• Effective communication and interpersonal skills
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office and document management software.
• Proactive, goal-oriented sales professional with the discipline to work independently.
• Effective time management skills
