Position Overview:

Our client is looking for a skilled and dedicated Commercial Service Technician to join their team. As a Commercial Service Technician, you will be responsible for maintaining, repairing, and providing technical support for various commercial equipment and systems. This role is crucial in ensuring the efficient functioning of commercial and industrial equipment across diverse industries.

Key Responsibilities:

• Equipment Maintenance: Conduct regular inspections and preventive maintenance on commercial equipment to proactively identify and address potential issues.

• Diagnosis and Repair: Troubleshoot and diagnose problems with commercial equipment, implementing effective repair solutions involving electrical, mechanical, or electronic components.

• Installation: Install new commercial equipment or upgrade existing systems, including setting up HVAC systems, industrial machinery, and other complex equipment.

• Technical Support: Provide technical assistance and support to clients or end-users, respond to service calls, address customer concerns, and offer guidance on equipment operation.

• Documentation: Maintain detailed records of service and maintenance activities, documenting repairs, replacements, and adjustments made to equipment.

• Customer Interaction: Interact with customers to understand their needs, explain repair processes, and provide information on equipment usage and maintenance.

• Adherence to Safety Regulations: Ensure all work is performed in compliance with safety regulations and industry standards, particularly in commercial settings where safety is a top priority.

• Upgrading and Retrofitting: Upgrade equipment to meet current standards or retrofit older systems with new components to enhance performance and energy efficiency.

• Continuous Learning: Stay informed about the latest developments in technology and equipment within the industry through training sessions, workshops, and relevant certifications.

• Emergency Repairs: Respond promptly to emergency repair situations, especially when equipment failures can result in significant downtime for businesses.
