Job Description
HVAC LEAD INSTALLER (MECHANICAL PROJECTS)
As an HVAC Lead Installer, you will be responsible for all aspects of service projects with direct responsibility for project execution while leading a team(s) to accomplish specific objectives in a given timeframe with available resources.
Job Duties
Responsible for timely completion of assigned projects and customer satisfaction
Repair and/or replace defective equipment and/or components
Installation of HVAC systems to include duct and wiring
Plans and analyzes assigned projects, establishes schedules and project parameters, and sets
procedures to accomplish system objectives.
Establishes a professional relationship and communicates with customers, subcontractors, and field support
staff
Responsible for maintaining the accuracy of the forecasted cost of completion
Responsible for project profitability by monitoring and controlling expenses
Assists Dispatcher with creating the project schedule
Oversees equipment, materials, subcontractor, and vendor orders, and recording receipts
Receives and qualifies subcontractor proposals and supervises work of assigned staff
Meets with contractors and clients to discuss scope of project, progress and close out
Supports sales function by assisting with quote preparation and proposal
Ensures that quality standards are maintained for all projects
Maintains customer satisfaction by investigating concerns, implementing corrective actions, and
communicating with customers and staff
Completes required reports and documents on handheld device
Operate a company vehicle
Requirements
5 or more years of experience or knowledge in the HVAC Service industry
EPA Universal certification
OSHA 10 certification (the company will provide if needed)
Experience with water-cooled and chilled water systems (preferred)
Experience with high and low voltage wiring of commercial HVAS equipment

Ability to pass a full background screening and drug screening
Ability to pass MVR check and physical ability assessment
Ability to travel, as needed, for projects
