Job Description

Our Client is currently looking for an Electrical Estimator to join the team in their Chandler, AZ office. This person will focus on supporting service, low voltage and new construction teams. The position will report to the Regional Manager and the Senior Project Manager and at times will receive direction and/or assignments from other management or project leaders. 

WHAT WE ARE LOOKING FOR:

• At least 2 years of field experience in electrical construction, industrial and commercial
• Ability to multi-task in a high volume, fast paced work environment with tight deadlines
• Experience with Accubid Anywhere and LiveCount Cloud software is a plus but not required
• Strong written and verbal communication skills
• Ability to travel periodically

WHAT YOU WILL BE DOING:

• Identifying, measuring, quantifying and calculating different aspects of a project design to determine how to input this date in estimating software
• Input data into estimating software using standardized methods
• Researching the cost of items such as materials, transport, labor, and equipment
• Establishing and maintaining relationships with contractors and vendors
• Monitoring the costs at different stages of a project to ensure it stays within the estimated budget
