What You Will Be Doing

As a Maintenance Agreement Sales Representative, you will be responsible for driving sales and revenue growth by promoting and selling maintenance agreements to new and existing clients. Your primary focus will be on identifying potential customers, understanding their needs, and effectively presenting the value of maintenance agreements to meet their specific requirements. This role requires strong sales acumen, excellent communication skills, and a proactive approach to achieve sales targets and contribute to the company's success.

The Ideal Candidate

  • Identify and research potential clients in the target market, including industries, businesses, and organizations that could benefit from maintenance agreements.
  • Engage with leads and prospects through various channels, such as cold calling, email campaigns, networking events, and referrals, to establish initial contact and build relationships.
  • Conduct thorough needs assessments with potential clients to understand their maintenance requirements and tailor sales presentations accordingly.
  • Prepare and deliver compelling sales presentations, outlining the benefits and value proposition of maintenance agreements, addressing client needs, and proposing suitable solutions.
  • Negotiate terms, pricing, and contract details with clients to secure new maintenance agreements. Work closely with the sales team and management to finalize deals and obtain customer commitments.
  • Foster strong and positive relationships with clients, providing exceptional customer service and post-sale support to enhance client satisfaction and promote contract renewals.
  • Stay informed about industry trends, competitors, and market dynamics to identify opportunities for product/service enhancements and to develop effective sales strategies.
  • Maintain accurate records of sales activities, customer interactions, and progress towards sales targets. Provide regular reports to management on sales performance and forecasts.

Other Essential Functions

  • High school diploma or equivalent. Bachelor's degree in Sales, Marketing, Business Administration, or related fields is advantageous.
  • Minimum of 3 years of experience in B2B sales, preferably in selling maintenance agreements or similar services.
  • Strong sales acumen with a track record of meeting or exceeding sales targets. Demonstrated ability in prospecting, needs analysis, negotiating, and closing deals.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills, including active listening and persuasive presentation abilities.
  • Customer-focused mindset with the ability to understand and address customer needs effectively.
  • Highly motivated and driven to achieve and exceed sales goals with a proactive approach to prospecting and lead generation.
  • Effective time management and organizational skills to prioritize tasks and meet sales deadlines.
  • Proficient in using CRM systems, sales tools, and Microsoft Office Suite
