  • Install and commission machinery at customer facilities, trade shows, dealer locations, and other designated sites.
  • Disassemble, prepare, and package machinery for shipment when equipment needs to be relocated or transported.
  • Account for machine components, accessories, and related materials before equipment is delivered to customers.
  • Coordinate equipment logistics and support the safe movement of machinery for trade shows and other company events.
  • Maintain clean, organized, and safe work areas following equipment installation and handling activities.
  • Complete installation checklists, service reports, daily reports, and other required documentation.
  • Communicate professionally with customers and represent the company positively while working at external locations.
  • Follow established installation procedures, safety requirements, and equipment handling practices.
  • Maintain facility 6S, lean manufacturing, ISO, and continuous improvement standards.
  • Collaborate with applications engineers, field service personnel, and other technical teams to ensure successful equipment installation.
  • Participate in company-provided training to develop knowledge of machine tools, installation procedures, and commissioning requirements.
  • Travel approximately 40% of the time, with assignments that may involve spending several weeks onsite before returning to the Noblesville facility.

  • Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills, with the ability to identify and address mechanical or installation-related issues.
  • Ability to work safely around large industrial equipment and assist with machinery handling and movement.
  • Basic technical understanding of equipment connections, machine functionality, and mechanical systems.
  • Ability to recognize when an installation issue requires additional technical assistance or escalation.
