Job Title: Implementation Project Manager
Location: Phoenix, AZ - Hybrid (3-4 days/week onsite)
Employment Type: Contract
As Project Manager III, you will oversee the end-to-end delivery of complex service implementation projects, ensuring quality, timeliness, and client satisfaction. This position requires a strong ability to coordinate teams, manage risk, and build lasting client relationships across all phases of implementation.
Your role:
- Lead large-scale or complex implementation projects from initiation through client acceptance.
- Define objectives, timelines, deliverables, and measures of success to ensure projects meet cost, quality, and schedule commitments.
- Develop detailed project plans, outlining dependencies, milestones, and required resources using standard project management tools and templates.
- Monitor progress through established dashboards and metrics, adjusting plans as needed to keep the project on track.
- Identify risks early and implement corrective actions to maintain delivery success.
- Communicate proactively with clients and stakeholders, providing consistent updates and managing expectations throughout the project lifecycle.
- Build and maintain productive relationships with clients, internal teams, and third-party partners to ensure smooth collaboration.
- Oversee the development of documentation, reports, and communication plans to support transparency and knowledge sharing.
- Validate that implemented solutions meet defined technical and quality standards before project closure.
- Mentor team members, provide project guidance, and contribute to improving overall delivery practices and methodologies.
- Support business development efforts by identifying new opportunities and assisting with proposal development.
What you’ve got:
- 6–8 years of experience managing complex solution implementations or large-scale client projects.
- Proven success leading cross-functional teams and managing client-facing engagements.
- Strong understanding of project management methodologies, tools, and best practices.
- Excellent communication, relationship-building, and stakeholder management skills.
- Ability to balance multiple priorities while maintaining attention to detail and quality.
- Experience improving delivery efficiency, quality, and profitability in service environments.
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience required; Master’s degree preferred.
- PMP or equivalent project management certification strongly preferred.
