As a Senior Mobile Software Developer, you will lead the design and development of mobile applications and supporting services that power critical business operations. You will streamline delivery across iOS, Android, and web interfaces while shaping standards for code quality, security, and reliability. You’ll collaborate closely with stakeholders to turn requirements into scalable solutions, guide upgrades across the stack, and keep documentation tight so teams can move fast with confidence.

Your role:

  • Design, build, and ship mobile experiences for iOS and Android, plus supporting web interfaces and API integrations.
  • Partner with internal teams and vendors to translate needs into stable, secure, and cost‑effective solutions.
  • Set up and maintain fit‑for‑purpose development frameworks and enforce coding standards across projects.
  • Manage source control, continuous integration, and deployment plans to keep releases predictable.
  • Monitor platform health, assess vulnerabilities, and lead timely upgrades to frameworks, libraries, and services.
  • Document architectures, environments, and build processes to support efficient onboarding and maintenance.
  • Support project management activities and deliver work that aligns with organizational goals and timelines.
  • Model professionalism and collaboration while mentoring and learning from peers across the development team.
  • Follow established policies and procedures and contribute feedback to improve them over time.

What you’ve got:

  • 7+ years of full‑stack development experience with a strong focus on mobile UI and application development for iOS and Android.
  • Hands‑on experience distributing and managing apps in Apple App Store and Google Play environments.
  • Proficiency with PHP and/or Python and JavaScript for server‑side and client‑side development.
  • UI/UX implementation skills across modern JavaScript/HTML ecosystems (React, Vue.js, or Angular).
  • 2–3 years working in AWS; exposure to Azure and hybrid environments is a plus.
  • Fluency with SQL (PostgreSQL and/or T‑SQL) and data access via ODBC.
  • Solid grasp of software architecture and the full SDLC, from greenfield builds to maintenance and feature expansion.
  • Version control expertise using Git and/or Subversion; comfort with code review practices.
  • Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines and tooling; experience with IntelliJ IDEA, pgAdmin, and SQL Server Management Studio.
  • Experience working in Linux and Windows server environments.
  • Ability to prioritize, drive work independently, and deliver against deadlines with high attention to quality.
  • Clear, professional communication skills and a collaborative approach with partners, vendors, and peers.
  • Ability to work during core hours Monday–Friday, 7:00 AM–4:30 PM Pacific Time.

Preferred:

  • Experience with content management, JSP/JDBC, JasperReports, XML/JSON, and general web development patterns.
  • Ticketing/work management tools such as JIRA or IssueTrak, and comfort contributing to process improvements.
  • Background in organizational change management and stakeholder training/support.
  • Permanent residency in the U.S. or Canada as a citizen or U.S. permanent resident (for remote eligibility).
  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science (or equivalent experience).
