About the Role
This Senior Business Analyst (BA) will take on a broader leadership role within the Program Applications team, serving as both a systems expert and a strategic partner. The position requires hands-on EMR support and configuration, with an emphasis on Homecare Homebase (HCHB), while also guiding and mentoring others on the team.
Key Responsibilities
Act as the primary liaison between clinical/program stakeholders and IS, ensuring technology solutions align with organizational needs.
Support and configure EMR systems with a focus on Homecare Homebase, understanding its workflows, integration points, and clinical applications.
Take a leadership role in planning, monitoring, and delivering strategic projects.
Mentor junior analysts and provide direction on business analysis best practices.
Facilitate cross-functional collaboration between IT, compliance, clinical, and operational teams.
Lead vendor evaluations, RFP development, and solution selection processes.
Drive change management efforts and present organizational impacts to leadership.
Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in Information Systems, MIS, or related field.
Minimum 6 years’ experience as a BA with progressive responsibilities.
5+ years’ healthcare/clinical experience required; EMR configuration expertise essential.
Experience with Homecare Homebase preferred, or other EMRs with transferable knowledge.
Demonstrated leadership abilities—mentoring, guiding, or leading project workstreams.
Strong background in SDLC and multiple methodologies.
