Title: IT Manager – CRM Development
Location: Phoenix, AZ (in-office)
We are seeking an experienced and collaborative IT Manager to lead our 14-person CRM development team supporting a critical CRM platform. This role is a blend of technical leadership, stakeholder engagement, and people management — ideal for a candidate with deep Microsoft Dynamics 365 CE expertise who thrives in a solution-driven, respectful, and communicative culture.
Lead a cross-functional team of developers, BAs, QA, and support staff delivering CRM solutions that serve thousands of internal and external users
Oversee the architecture and delivery of Dynamics 365 CE (Sales/Customer Engagement) features, integrating with custom .NET applications and Azure-based services
Divide and assign team responsibilities, while providing coaching and performance development (1:1s, reviews, career pathing)
Partner with internal stakeholders — including VPs and business unit leaders — to gather pain points and translate them into CRM solutions
Guide team on best practices for data storage, automation, and platform scalability across a recently migrated cloud-based Dynamics environment
Provide oversight to light technical support staff who manage user configuration and system issues, ensuring effective escalations
Participate in solution design and, where needed, assist with proof of concept development to set technical direction
Promote collaboration and productivity in a team of high performers, balancing a light- and heavy-touch leadership style
Maintain documentation and ensure systems are secure, compliant, and aligned with organizational IT policies
Bachelor’s degree in IT, Computer Science, or related field
Deep experience with Microsoft Dynamics 365 CE, including configuration, architecture, and business process implementation
5+ years in IT leadership, including experience managing mid-sized technical teams
Strong communication skills, with a proven ability to influence both technical teams and senior business stakeholders
Experience in a hybrid cloud/on-prem environment; recent cloud migration experience is a plus
Understanding of full SDLC, Agile environments, and project delivery best practices
Proven ability to manage personalities, encourage collaboration, and maintain a high-performing team culture
Ability to evaluate architecture needs and lead CRM modernization or process optimization efforts
Certifications in Microsoft Dynamics, Azure, or Agile/Scrum methodologies preferred
