Title: Senior AWS Infrastructure Engineer
Location: Tempe, AZ – Hybrid
Employment Type: Full-Time/Perm


We’re looking for a Senior AWS Infrastructure Engineer to support and evolve our cloud infrastructure, deployment practices, and operational efficiency. This role is suited for someone who thrives in regulated environments, champions automation, and brings deep AWS and CI/CD expertise to the table.


Your role:

  • Design and manage scalable AWS infrastructure using EC2, ELB, RDS, and CloudFormation.
  • Maintain and enhance CI/CD pipelines with tools such as Azure DevOps and Octopus Deploy.
  • Automate routine tasks with scripting languages like PowerShell, Python, or Bash.
  • Ensure high availability, security, and reliability across systems and services.
  • Monitor performance and logs using CloudWatch and tools like Sumo Logic or Logz.io.
  • Diagnose and resolve infrastructure and deployment issues with expert troubleshooting.
  • Enforce change control policies aligned with regulatory and compliance standards.
  • Develop infrastructure-as-code to support automated and repeatable deployments.
  • Collaborate with developers and QA to support the full application lifecycle.


What you’ve got:

  • 5+ years in DevOps, Site Reliability Engineering, or related roles.
  • 5+ years in AWS infrastructure and SQL Clustering experience required
  • Skilled in CI/CD platforms such as Azure DevOps and Octopus Deploy.
  • Advanced experience with AWS services, including EC2, ELB, RDS, and CloudFormation.
  • Experience with Web Application server configuration and monitoring (e.g., IIS, Apache, Nginx, Express, etc).
  • Experienced in scripting with PowerShell, Python, or Bash.
  • Proficient in managing both Windows and Linux server environments.
  • Excellent collaboration and communication skills across technical teams.
  • Experienced with monitoring tools like CloudWatch, Sumo Logic, or Logz.io.
  • Familiar with compliance-focused workflows and change control enforcement.
  • Strong understanding of system diagnostics, log analysis, and troubleshooting.
  • Preferred: Background in cloud performance tuning and cost optimization.
  • Preferred: Familiarity with Datadog, Splunk, or other advanced monitoring tools.
  • Preferred: AWS certifications and knowledge of Docker, Kubernetes, or other container platforms.
