Title: Digital Transformation Analyst
Location:
Tempe, AZ or Anchorage, AK preferred; Remote possible for candidates in AZ, WA, or nearby states
Employment Type: 6-month contract-to-hire


Our client is undergoing a digital transformation to modernize systems, streamline processes, and better serve internal and external stakeholders. They’re seeking a critical thinker and problem-solver to help lead this change. This role blends strategic planning with hands-on execution and requires someone comfortable navigating both business and technical conversations.

You’ll work cross-functionally with IT, finance, operations, and consultants—evaluating pain points, designing solutions, and building tools like dashboards and workflows to drive smarter decisions and operational efficiency.


Your role:

  • Lead or support digital transformation initiatives across business units
  • Evaluate current systems and workflows to identify gaps and architect modern solutions
  • Translate business needs and requests into actionable system, process, or data recommendations
  • Build clean, effective Power BI dashboards to support data-driven decisions
  • Use Alteryx to automate workflows and streamline data preparation
  • Perform data modeling and write SQL, DAX, and Power Query M to support analytics
  • Document processes and requirements to support system improvements
  • Ensure data accuracy through regular validation and quality checks
  • Contribute to daily collaboration, team problem-solving, and continuous improvement


What you’ve got:

  • Strong critical thinking and problem-assessment skills
  • 2+ years of experience using Alteryx for data preparation or automation (required)
  • 2+ years of experience with Power BI, including dashboard design and report building
  • Experience with DAX, Power Query M, and SQL
  • Proven ability to work with business stakeholders to scope and deliver impactful solutions
  • Experience in process improvement, automation, or digital transformation
  • Collaborative mindset and comfort working across functions and disciplines
  • Familiarity with Microsoft tools like Teams and SharePoint (preferred)
  • Experience in finance, operations, auditing, or regulated environments is a plus
  • Eagerness to learn and support tools like Power Apps, Power Automate, or SmartSheet
  • Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Business, Economics, IT, or a related field
