Job Title: IT Project Manager (Mid-Senior Level)
Location: Onsite - Austin, TX
Duration: 2-4+ months (extension possibility)

Job Summary:
We are working with our client to find an experienced IT Project Manager to join their team. The ideal candidate will have 5-8+ years of experience managing complex IT projects from initiation through to completion. This role requires strong leadership, excellent communication skills, and the ability to coordinate cross-functional teams to deliver successful IT solutions that align with business goals.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead and manage IT projects, ensuring timely delivery within scope and budget.

• Collaborate with business and technical teams to define project goals, objectives, and deliverables.

• Develop and manage detailed project plans, schedules, and budgets.

• Identify and manage project risks and issues, providing mitigation strategies as needed.

• Coordinate resources across multiple teams to ensure project success.

• Track project progress, adjusting plans as necessary to meet changing requirements.

• Communicate project status to stakeholders, ensuring transparency and alignment.

• Facilitate project meetings, ensuring clear communication of project timelines and milestones.

• Manage vendor relationships and coordinate external resources when necessary.

• Ensure that project deliverables meet quality standards and business requirements.

• Provide post-project support, assisting with transition and implementation.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Business Administration, or a related field.

• 5-8+ years of experience managing IT projects.

• Strong knowledge of project management methodologies (Agile, Waterfall, or Hybrid).

• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

• Proven track record of delivering IT projects on time and within budget.

• Experience with project management tools (e.g., MS Project, Jira, Asana, or similar).

• Strong problem-solving and decision-making abilities.

• Ability to manage multiple projects and competing priorities in a fast-paced environment.

Preferred Qualifications:

• PMP (Project Management Professional) or similar project management certification.

• Experience in specific industries such as healthcare, finance, or retail is a plus.

• Familiarity with IT infrastructure, software development, and business systems.
