Job Title: IT Project Manager (Mid-Senior Level)
Location: Onsite - Austin, TX
Duration: 2-4+ months (extension possibility)

Job Summary:
We are working with our client to find an experienced IT Project Manager to join their team. The ideal candidate will have 5-8+ years of experience managing complex IT projects from initiation through to completion. This role requires strong leadership, excellent communication skills, and the ability to coordinate cross-functional teams to deliver successful IT solutions that align with business goals.
Key Responsibilities:
Lead and manage IT projects, ensuring timely delivery within scope and budget.
Collaborate with business and technical teams to define project goals, objectives, and deliverables.
Develop and manage detailed project plans, schedules, and budgets.
Identify and manage project risks and issues, providing mitigation strategies as needed.
Coordinate resources across multiple teams to ensure project success.
Track project progress, adjusting plans as necessary to meet changing requirements.
Communicate project status to stakeholders, ensuring transparency and alignment.
Facilitate project meetings, ensuring clear communication of project timelines and milestones.
Manage vendor relationships and coordinate external resources when necessary.
Ensure that project deliverables meet quality standards and business requirements.
Provide post-project support, assisting with transition and implementation.
Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Business Administration, or a related field.
5-8+ years of experience managing IT projects.
Strong knowledge of project management methodologies (Agile, Waterfall, or Hybrid).
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Proven track record of delivering IT projects on time and within budget.
Experience with project management tools (e.g., MS Project, Jira, Asana, or similar).
Strong problem-solving and decision-making abilities.
Ability to manage multiple projects and competing priorities in a fast-paced environment.
Preferred Qualifications:
PMP (Project Management Professional) or similar project management certification.
Experience in specific industries such as healthcare, finance, or retail is a plus.
Familiarity with IT infrastructure, software development, and business systems.
