Title: IS Clinical Support Analyst
Location: Phoenix, AZ (Remote or in-office)
Type: Contract
We’re currently looking to place an IS Clinical Systems Analyst. In this role, you will be responsible for managing system incidents, tracking recurring issues, and ensuring the efficient resolution of technical problems. You will oversee the full incident lifecycle, from detection to resolution, while maintaining service levels and driving continuous improvements. The analyst will also manage vendor relationships, collaborate with teams to escalate and resolve critical issues, and minimize disruptions to clinical operations. Additionally, this position involves developing and maintaining knowledge base resources to enhance system usability and support end-users. The ideal candidate will proactively identify system gaps and implement solutions to optimize system performance and user experience.
Your role:
- Adaptability to meet the evolving needs of staff and volunteers, ensuring application and system disruptions are addressed promptly.
- Incident management by actively tracking and resolving system issues, maintaining clear communication with stakeholders.
- Problem management through documentation of recurring system issues, identifying root causes, and implementing long-term solutions.
- Vendor management by maintaining relationships with service providers, ensuring contract commitments are met, and escalating issues as needed.
- Knowledge base development to create and update resources that empower users with self-service solutions to common technical issues.
- Issue escalation of critical problems to the appropriate internal teams or vendors, ensuring timely prioritization and resolution.
- Collaboration and resolution by working with internal teams and vendors to drive issue resolution in alignment with organizational priorities.
- Documentation of incident logs, problem records, resolution processes, and vendor interactions to promote transparency and continuous improvement.
- System enhancements by identifying patterns in incidents and user feedback to recommend and implement system improvements.
What you’ve got:
- High school diploma or GED required; Associate or Bachelor's degree preferred.
- 3+ years of experience in an analyst or operational role within the healthcare industry.
- Strong understanding of healthcare business practices and experience using or supporting clinical systems.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications and the ability to adapt to various clinical systems.
