Title: Vice President, Sales

Type: Full Time, Base Salary + CommissionWe are seeking a dynamic and results-driven Vice President, Sales to lead the sales efforts of a rapidly growing company specializing in private-label clothing. This is a hands-on sales leadership role where you will carry a quota, generate leads, and build lasting relationships with retailers looking to expand into the denim category. You will be responsible for developing and executing sales strategies, building a strong CRM, leveraging technology to drive business growth, and leading a team of Brand Development Representatives.
Your role:
- Lead Sales efforts by actively prospecting, generating leads, and closing deals with retailers. Carry an individual sales quota while scaling the sales function.
- Identify and implement a robust CRM system to track leads, manage customer relationships, and streamline sales operations. Work with internal stakeholders to enhance and integrate technology that drives inbound business.
- Market expansion and lead generation by strategically targeting retailers who already have private-label merchandise (tops, caps, accessories) and introduce them to the denim category.
- Manage and support a team of Brand Development Representatives who act as independent sales reps. Provide coaching, set performance goals, and optimize their effectiveness.
- Develop and refine sales processes, pricing models, and go-to-market strategies to drive sustainable revenue growth.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with key decision-makers at retail chains and independent stores looking to expand their private-label offerings.
What you’ve got:
- 8+ years of experience in B2B sales, wholesale, or private-label apparel sales with a proven track record of generating leads and closing deals.
- Strong background in CRM selection, implementation, and optimization to improve lead tracking and sales efficiency.
- Hands-on leader with experience building and managing a high-performing sales team.
- Skilled at leveraging technology and digital tools to enhance sales outreach and market visibility.
- Strong understanding of retail trends and private-label branding.
- Self-motivated, entrepreneurial mindset with the ability to drive results independently.
- Must be based in the Memphis, TN area or willing to relocate.
