Phoenix Staff is looking for a Technical Sourcer to join our recruiting team and play a crucial role in identifying and engaging top technical talent. In this role, you will focus on sourcing candidates for high-priority technical openings, building targeted shortlists for recruiters, and developing strong talent pipelines in our core recurring skill areas. A successful individual in this role has IT exposure, is curious, solutions-oriented, and takes challenging searches as an opportunity to get creative.

Key Responsibilities:
- Attend intake calls for new roles, take diligent notes and understand technical and cultural needs of each opening.
- Assess potential candidates for qualifications and alignment, engage with them via messaging strategies, and connect interested candidates with Recruiters.
- Partner with recruiters and sales to strategize on current openings.
- Utilize various sourcing methods, including LinkedIn Recruiter, Dice, our ATS database, Boolean searches, networking and more, to identify and engage passive candidates.
- Understand the unique needs and cultures of each of our clients to help find the best fit for their teams.
- Build and maintain pipelines for recurring technical skill sets to support ongoing hiring needs.
- Maintain accurate and organized candidate data in our ATS and sourcing tools.
- Review applicants in our database and push forward qualified applicants to recruiters.
- Stay current on industry trends, technologies, and talent market dynamics to refine sourcing strategies.
- Collaborate with the recruiting team to share market insights, sourcing strategies, and candidate feedback.
- Conduct bio calls with candidate referrals.
Qualifications & Skills:
- 1+ years experience in sourcing or recruiting for technical roles, preferably in an agency or staffing environment OR previous IT education background
- Previous knowledge of IT concepts, including applications development and infrastructure.
- Ability to manage time effectively and balance competing priorities.
- Sense of urgency and ability to jump in quickly and make an impact.
- Strong Boolean search skills and familiarity with sourcing tools or strong willingness to learn.
- A solutions-oriented, critical thinker who can navigate challenges creatively and persistently—someone who doesn’t give up when hitting a wall and thinks outside of the box.
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple searches, processes, and pipelines simultaneously.
- Excellent communication skills and the ability to effectively convey opportunities to candidates and provide internal updates.
- A proactive and resourceful mindset with a passion for helping people and technology.
