Title: Quality Assurance Analyst

Location: Remote (M-F; 7am-4pm Pacific Time)

We are currently looking for a dedicated Quality Assurance (QA) Analyst . This remote position provides an exciting opportunity for a professional to ensure the quality of software solutions that support organizational goals.

The QA Analyst will evaluate and test new or modified software programs and development procedures to ensure they meet user requirements and adhere to established guidelines. This role involves writing, revising, and verifying quality standards while maintaining testing processes for both custom and commercial off-the-shelf (COTS) software.

Your role:

• Develop and execute test plans to validate business requirements as defined in functional specifications.
• Create, maintain, and execute both manual and automated test scripts/suites.
• Conduct load and stress testing to assess system performance.
• Identify and recommend quality improvement opportunities.
• Participate in reviews of functional specification documents.
• Document quality assurance practices and provide feedback on work quality.
• Assist in verifying user-reported issues as needed.

What you’ve got:

• Proficiency in MS Office tools.
• Experience with custom and COTS enterprise applications.
• Familiarity with cloud services (AWS and Azure).
• Knowledge of Integrated Development Environments (e.g., IntelliJ IDEA, Eclipse).
• Experience with source versioning systems (Git/Subversion).
• Proficiency in trouble ticket reporting systems (e.g., JIRA, IssueTrak).
• Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience.
• Over 3 years of experience as a QA Analyst.
• Experience with automated testing tools such as Selenium and industry-standard frameworks.
• Excellent customer service and interpersonal skills.
• Strong time management abilities.
• Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively within a team.
• Self-motivated and adaptable.

Work Environment:

• This remote position is open to residents of the United States or Canada (US/Canadian citizens or US permanent residents only).
• Availability during regular business hours (Monday-Friday, 7:00 AM to 4:30 PM Pacific Time) for collaboration with team members.
• Reports to the Applications Development Manager, with frequent interaction with senior QA team members and IT management.
