Title: Chief Information Officer (CIO)
Location: Must be able to relocate.
We are seeking a seasoned Chief Information Officer (CIO) with extensive experience in the hospitality industry, particularly within large-scale hotel and resort operations. This executive role will lead our client's technology strategy, driving digital transformation and enhancing operational efficiency across a portfolio which includes hotels, resorts, entertainment and gaming.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement IT strategies tailored to the hospitality sector, focusing on improving guest experiences and operational effectiveness.
- Spearhead digital initiatives that leverage cutting-edge technologies to enhance services in hotel, resort, and entertainment environments.
- Manage integrated hospitality management systems, including those that support casino operations.
- Ensure robust data protection and compliance with industry standards relevant to hospitality and gaming.
- Lead and cultivate a high-performing IT team aligned with business goals across all property types.
- Build and maintain relationships with technology vendors to secure cost-effective solutions for our diverse operations.
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in IT, Computer Science, or a related field (Master's preferred).
- 10+ years of IT leadership experience, with a strong focus on large-scale hospitality operations. Experience with gaming or casino IT systems is beneficial.
- Extensive knowledge of hotel management systems, guest service technologies, and cybersecurity best practices. Familiarity with gaming-specific technologies is a plus.
- Proven ability to lead cross-functional teams and communicate effectively with executive leadership in complex hospitality environments.
- Deep understanding of hospitality industry needs, including guest experience optimization and operational efficiencies. Knowledge of gaming operations technology is advantageous.
The ideal candidate will bring substantial experience from the hospitality sector, with some exposure to gaming operations. They must demonstrate a proven ability to drive technological innovation that enhances guest experiences and operational excellence across various hospitality settings, including those with gaming components.
