Title: Social Media Manager
Location: Newington, NH (in-person, not remote, relocation assistance is available)
Type: Full-time salary, plus bonus
We are seeking a strategically minded, seasoned Social Media Manager to join our clients growing business. In this position, you will be responsible for overseeing social media marketing for a brand. Through your insight and strategic direction, you will manage all of the various social media channels and platforms while elevating the execution of all aspects of the social media marketing programs. You will work to align marketing campaigns with social platforms, analyze the results of social media campaigns and make recommendations on optimizations and strategic shifts.
Working in direct partnership with the companys marketing leadership team and digital marketing agencies, you will lead the day-to-day efforts of developing and managing the companys social media efforts and the cultivation of the companys online community. In addition, you will be responsible for identifying content needs and working with the brand management and creative teams to guide the development of content through creative concepting, storyboarding and copywriting, overseeing the entire production process from start to finish. Exceptional communication and social media content creation skills are a must.
Your role:
- Social Media Strategy: Working in collaboration with the Brand Management team and the companys digital partners you will be responsible for developing and executing comprehensive social media strategies aligned with the various product, brand, and company marketing goals.
- Content Creation: Work collaboratively with the Brand Management and content creation teams to develop and create engaging and visually appealing content for various social media platforms, including but not limited to Facebook, Twitter, Instagram, LinkedIn, and emerging platforms.
- Approval Process: Lead the approval process, management, and execution of all social media content via various approval management tools and platforms.
- Community Management: Monitor and actively engage with the online community on behalf of the company, responding to comments, messages, and mentions in a timely and professional manner, while advancing key messaging strategies and growing engagement metrics for the brand.
- Campaign Management: In partnership with Brand Managers and the Marketing Leadership Team, Plan and execute social media campaigns, contests, and promotions to increase audience reach and drive user participation.
- Social Media Advertising: Utilize social media advertising tools to run targeted ad campaigns, optimize performance, and achieve key performance indicators (KPIs).
- Influencer Collaboration: Identify and collaborate with influencers, bloggers, and industry leaders to expand the brand's reach and credibility.
- Analytics and Reporting: Monitor social media analytics and track performance metrics to assess the effectiveness of campaigns and generate insightful reports for management.
- Trend Analysis: Stay informed about emerging social media trends, tools, and best practices to ensure the brand remains ahead of the competition.
- Brand Monitoring: Monitor online mentions and sentiment related to the brand, responding to any issues or crises appropriately.
What youve got:
- Bachelors degree in marketing, advertising, or related field.
- 3-5 years of social media marketing or marketing communications experience.
- Previous agency experience preferred.
- Experience with key social media platforms (Instagram, Facebook, YouTube) and monitoring or content management tools (Sprout Social, etc.)
- Excellent oral and written communication; strong public speaking skills.
