Job Description

Title: Sr. Manager of IT and Security
Location: Austin, TX

Your role:

  • Develop and maintain the overall IT and information security strategy and vision for the organization, ensuring alignment with the business objectives and regulatory requirements.
  • Manage all aspects of the company's IT infrastructure including servers, networks, storage, applications, and telecommunications systems.
  • Ensure the security, confidentiality, and integrity of data through the development and implementation of robust security policies, procedures, and controls.
  • Provide guidance and leadership to IT and security teams, including training and performance management.
  • Develop and manage the IT and security budgets, including planning and forecasting expenses.
  • Lead the IT and security risk management program, including identifying, assessing, and managing risks to the organization's technology assets.
  • Collaborate with other departments within the company to identify and implement technology solutions that support business operations and objectives.
  • Manage internal and external relationships, ensuring that services are delivered in accordance with service level agreements.
  • Stay up to date with emerging technologies and trends in IT and security, and evaluate their potential impact on the organization.

What you’ve got:

  • Bachelor's degree in computer science, information technology, or a related field. A Master's degree is preferred.
  • 7+ years of relevant experience.
  • Strong knowledge of information security frameworks and standards (e.g., ISO 27001, NIST, etc.)
  • Experience managing enterprise-level IT infrastructure, including servers, networks, storage, and telecommunications systems.
  • Excellent leadership and interpersonal skills, with the ability to communicate effectively at all levels of the organization.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to develop and implement creative solutions to complex problems.
  • Experience with healthcare and HIPPA preferred.
  • Industry certifications such as CISSP, CISM, or CRISC are preferred.
