Title: Sr. Manager of IT and Security
Location: Austin, TX
Your role:
Develop and maintain the overall IT and information security strategy and vision for the organization, ensuring alignment with the business objectives and regulatory requirements.
Manage all aspects of the company's IT infrastructure including servers, networks, storage, applications, and telecommunications systems.
Ensure the security, confidentiality, and integrity of data through the development and implementation of robust security policies, procedures, and controls.
Provide guidance and leadership to IT and security teams, including training and performance management.
Develop and manage the IT and security budgets, including planning and forecasting expenses.
Lead the IT and security risk management program, including identifying, assessing, and managing risks to the organization's technology assets.
Collaborate with other departments within the company to identify and implement technology solutions that support business operations and objectives.
Manage internal and external relationships, ensuring that services are delivered in accordance with service level agreements.
Stay up to date with emerging technologies and trends in IT and security, and evaluate their potential impact on the organization.
What youve got:
Bachelor's degree in computer science, information technology, or a related field. A Master's degree is preferred.
7+ years of relevant experience.
Strong knowledge of information security frameworks and standards (e.g., ISO 27001, NIST, etc.)
Experience managing enterprise-level IT infrastructure, including servers, networks, storage, and telecommunications systems.
Excellent leadership and interpersonal skills, with the ability to communicate effectively at all levels of the organization.
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to develop and implement creative solutions to complex problems.
Experience with healthcare and HIPPA preferred.
Industry certifications such as CISSP, CISM, or CRISC are preferred.
