Title: Director of Operations
Location: Tempe, AZ (hybrid remote/in-office)


We are currently looking for a Director of Operations within the SaaS industry. Join a highly skilled team that requires some level of experience within the public sector. As an ideal candidate, you have proven senior management experience in a highly dynamic setting - you also must have experience within the software and, more directly, the SaaS space. Your organizational, communication, and leadership skills are demonstrated by previous professional success, and you enjoy developing solutions that push innovative boundaries. You’ll work closely with company executives to strategize and implement new levels of productivity.

What you’ve got:

  •  
  • Bachelor’s degree in business administration or related field.
  •  
  •  
  • SaaS experience - not as a partner, but working directly within the SaaS industry.
  •  
  •  
  • 10+ years of senior leadership.
  •  
  •  
  • Experience working in or around the public sector.
  •  
  •  
  • Superior knowledge of multiple operational functions and principles, including finance, customer service, technology solutions, and employee management.
  •  
  •  
  • Ability to streamline and implement new structures and roles that create speed, efficiency, and support rapidly shifting business demands.
  •  
  •  
  • Strong working knowledge of technology or software industry.
  •  
  •  
  • Organizational, communication, and leadership skills, demonstrated by previous professional success.
  •  
  •  
  • Strong working knowledge of data analysis and performance metrics using business management software preferred.
  •  
  •  
  • Technology or software company experience including familiarity with databases, ERP systems, and data analysis tools preferred.

Your role:

  • Strategic and tactical management of business operations including contract negotiations, budgeting, purchasing, billing, customer service, and operational strategies.
  •  
  •  
  • Collaborate with executive-level management in the development and execution of operational plans.
  •  
  •  
  • Analyze current operational processes and performance, recommending solutions for improvement when necessary.
  •  
  •  
  • Develop, implement, and monitor day-to-day operational systems and processes that provide visibility into goals, progress, and obstacles for key initiatives.
  •  
  •  
  • Plan, monitor, and analyze key metrics for the day-to-day performance of the operations to ensure efficient and timely completion of tasks.
  •  
  •  
  • Devise strategies to ensure growth of programs enterprise-wide, identifying and implementing process improvements that will maximize output and minimize costs.
