Electrical QA/QC Manager

Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced Electrical QA/QC Manager to oversee quality assurance and quality control activities for electrical construction projects. This individual will be responsible for ensuring project work meets applicable specifications, industry standards, regulatory requirements, and customer expectations.

The QA/QC Manager will monitor field operations, administer quality programs, conduct inspections, address quality-related issues, and support continuous improvement throughout project execution.

Key Responsibilities

• Comply with all applicable environmental, health, and safety programs and requirements.

• Monitor and administer QA/QC plans and programs to ensure quality-related activities are properly implemented across assigned projects.

• Observe production operations, installation activities, and equipment to ensure work conforms to project specifications and contractual requirements.

• Maintain controlled copies of work procedure manuals, inspection documentation, and applicable forms.

• Establish and implement inspection criteria and procedures.

• Conduct and document field inspections and quality investigations.

• Prepare and distribute timely inspection, investigation, and quality-related reports.

• Investigate customer quality issues and complaints and coordinate appropriate corrective actions.

• Verify that equipment, components, and parts are installed and operating properly and meet applicable industry and regulatory standards.

• Identify opportunities for quality improvement and assist with developing procedures and solutions related to assigned projects.

• Work closely with project management, field personnel, customers, and other stakeholders to identify and resolve quality issues.

• Maintain accurate documentation related to inspections, corrective actions, and quality performance.

Qualifications & Requirements

• Previous experience in electrical construction quality assurance/quality control.

• Strong knowledge of QA/QC principles, processes, and industry standards.

• Ability to interpret project specifications, procedures, and quality requirements.

• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.

• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

• Ability to conduct field inspections and document findings accurately.

• Ability to work extended hours and adhere to project-specific onsite schedules.

• Valid driver's license and ability to operate a motor vehicle.

• Reliable transportation.

• Ability to work in varying and potentially adverse weather conditions.

• Must be able to successfully complete a pre-employment drug screening.

Work Environment

This is a field-based position supporting electrical construction projects. The successful candidate must be comfortable spending significant time on active construction jobsites and working in a variety of weather and site conditions.
