HR Operations & Analytics Specialist

This is the perfect opportunity for an experienced HR professional with a love of analytics and HR operations looking to grow their career within a global context. This role is a critical addition to a lean, high-performing People and Culture team, designed for a candidate who thrives in the "engine room" of HR.

 

The Opportunity

We are looking for a pragmatic, data-oriented HR Generalist who is ready to step into a more sophisticated operational space. While you will manage the foundational elements of the employee lifecycle, you will also play a pivotal role in evolving how the organisation uses data to drive people decisions.

Role Overview & Day-to-Day

This position balances hands-on operational support with analytical project work:

  • HR Operations: Support day-to-day processes including onboarding, offboarding, and general employee lifecycle activities.
  • Reporting & Insights: Prepare and maintain regular HR reports (headcount, turnover, diversity metrics, etc.) to identify trends and provide actionable insights.
  • Market Benchmarking: Conduct market research and benchmarking for compensation and benefits, ensuring internal practices align with industry standards.
  • System Integrity: Maintain accurate employee records and ensure data integrity across all global HR systems.
  • Policy & Projects: Support HR projects such as policy reviews, process improvements, and system implementations.

To Be Successful in This Position

We are seeking a candidate who balances technical smarts with a proactive attitude:

 

  • Experience: Minimum of 5 years+ of HR experience in a generalist or similar operations-focused role.
  • Analytical Aptitude: Strong proficiency in Excel and experience with HRIS systems; the ability to sit with data and translate it into operational improvements is essential.
  • Foundational Knowledge: An understanding of job architecture and benchmarking (experience with Mercer, Radford, or Aon is highly regarded).
  • Attributes: A problem-solver who keeps the "end in mind" and can communicate complex information simply to stakeholders.
