We’re looking for a highly skilled Maintenance Engineer to optimise plant performance and ensure reliability in a key New Zealand industry. This role offers the opportunity to implement maintenance strategies, enhance reliability, and contribute to long-term operational success.

The Opportunity
Based in Blenheim, this hands-on role is ideal for a Maintenance Engineer in a fast-paced industrial environment. You’ll be responsible for maintaining and improving plant equipment to reduce downtime and enhance operational performance. This role offers the chance to drive maintenance strategies, improve reliability, and collaborate with a dedicated team to ensure smooth plant operations.

Your Key Responsibilities
You’ll manage the maintenance of key plant machinery, including sawmills, conveyors, and hydraulic systems. Your tasks will involve troubleshooting, repairing, and ensuring the optimal performance of these machines. You will perform preventative and reactive maintenance, handle repairs and component replacements, and work closely with engineers to identify performance improvements.

• Technical Expertise – Strong background in machining, fitting, and troubleshooting within an industrial setting.
