Compensation: Competitive Base starting at $100k + Commission (DOE)
We are seeking a motivated and experienced Special Projects Sales Representative to support and expand our commercial HVAC service offerings. This role involves identifying, qualifying, and closing sales opportunities related to the repair, modification, and replacement of mechanical systems. You’ll work closely with clients to provide practical, cost-effective solutions—while building strong, long-term relationships.
Consistently meet or exceed annual sales booking goals
Aggressively manage open quotes and convert them to closed deals
Qualify prospects and deliver persuasive, solution-based presentations
Plan and schedule appointments efficiently to maximize productivity
Respond to customer requests with speed and professionalism
Inspect, survey, and appraise mechanical systems (HVAC, piping, etc.)
Identify repair, replacement, or upgrade requirements
Interpret technical drawings and job site conditions
Recommend modifications or replacements based on findings
Estimate costs using company pricing standards and guidelines
Expand relationships with existing customers by offering solutions and upgrades
Identify and pursue new market opportunities in assigned territory
Maintain a strong backlog of quotes to support consistent sales performance
Quickly address concerns and resolve issues to maintain positive customer relationships
Coordinate with internal teams (field and office) for seamless project execution
Represent the company professionally to vendors, clients, and external stakeholders
Prepare accurate proposals, reports, and booking packages
Document job progress, special conditions, and changes in a timely manner
Support other initiatives and assignments as requested by management
Proven success in commercial HVAC or mechanical systems sales
Strong knowledge of HVAC, plumbing, and mechanical systems
Experience estimating, pricing, and preparing technical proposals
Excellent communication, organizational, and time management skills
Self-driven with the ability to manage multiple leads and close deals
Proficiency in Microsoft Office; CRM or estimating software experience preferred
Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record
