Are you a BIM powerhouse with a passion for driving process efficiency and model accuracy? Join our mechanical construction firm in Ames as our BIM Manager—overseeing Revit standards, coordinating cross-department workflows, and mentoring a growing team of modelers.

What You’ll Lead

• BIM Strategy & Standards: Develop, maintain, and enforce company-wide Revit/BIM templates, families, and workflows.

• Model Coordination: Oversee clash detection (Navisworks/BIM 360) and integrate HVAC/process-piping models with other trades.

• Team Development: Mentor BIM coordinators and drafters—providing training, QA reviews, and career-growth plans.

• Technology Implementation: Evaluate and roll out new BIM tools, plug-ins, and automation scripts to boost productivity.

• Project Support: Serve as the primary BIM liaison on projects—guiding teams through model setup, deliverables, and on-site coordination.

What You’ll Bring

• 5+ years of hands-on BIM experience in mechanical construction or MEP consulting

• Expert proficiency in Revit, Navisworks, BIM 360/ACC, and related clash-detection tools

• Track record developing BIM standards, templates, and training programs

• Strong leadership skills with experience managing or mentoring a BIM team

• Excellent communication and problem-solving abilities
