Role Overview
As an Electrical Craft Instructor for the client’s training program, you’ll leverage your journey-level expertise to deliver NCCER-accredited classroom instruction, mentor adult learners, and shape the next generation of skilled electricians.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop, deliver, and adapt NCCER-based curriculum for Core and four craft levels

  • Lead hands-on stations and performance evaluations, ensuring alignment with industry standards

  • Monitor student progress via goal metrics; implement action plans when objectives aren’t met

  • Conduct field audits of apprentices, gather feedback for training gap analyses

  • Assemble semi-annual reports for Operations leadership on program outcomes

  • Enforce training-center guidelines and uphold “no cheating” and safety policies

  • Collaborate with Operations and recruiting to identify and onboard new apprentices

Success Metrics

  • ≥ 90% student pass-rate on NCCER written and skill evaluations

  • Placement of 50+ apprentices per year into field assignments

  • ≥ 95% positive feedback in end-of-course evaluations

Who You Are

  • Journeyman level+ electrician passionate about teaching and mentorship

  • Self-starter with excellent verbal, written, and technical-writing skills

  • Adaptable under pressure, with a knack for innovative instructional methods

  • Committed to ongoing professional growth and safety advocacy

Qualifications & Experience

  • Journey-level electrician with 5+ years’ field experience

  • NCCER Instructor Training under a certified Master Trainer

  • Strong classroom management and curriculum-development skills
