Traveling Lead BMS Technician – (Contract)
Location: Nationwide (Travel Required)
Pay: $35–$40/hr (DOE)
A national electrical contractor seeks a temporary Lead BMS Technician to support the installation, commissioning, and troubleshooting of Building Management Systems on large-scale data center construction projects across the U.S. This is a travel-based temp-to-hire role ideal for experienced low-voltage professionals with strong BMS and commissioning skills.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead field crews in BMS system installation, startup, and commissioning.
- Install systems in new construction environment. Install EMT conduit, pull wire and fiber
- Terminate low voltage and Cat 6
- Interpret riser diagrams, control schematics, and wiring layouts.
- Coordinate with project managers and subcontractors to maintain schedule and quality.
System Experience Required
- HVAC & Electrical
- Environmental Monitoring
- Temp/humidity sensors, leak detection, airflow/static
- BMS Platforms & Protocols such as Siemens, Honeywell, Johnson
