Cost Engineer- Mechanical

We’re delivering some of the most advanced semiconductor and industrial facilities in the world — and we need a Cost Engineer (Mechanical) to help ensure our projects stay on budget and on track.

In this role, you’ll be the commercial and cost-control expert for all mechanical systems, from negotiating construction terms to analyzing change orders and tracking budget trends. You’ll work closely with project managers, subcontractors, and the owner to safeguard the project’s financial success.

What You’ll Do:

• Negotiate commercial terms and substantiate change orders with subcontractors.
• Review design changes for cost impacts and prepare reports for owner approval.
• Manage budget trend logs and track change orders.
• Conduct quantity calculations and market price surveys for materials/labor.
• Provide cost analysis using Bluebeam, Navisworks (BIM), CAD, Revit, and Trimble.
• Implement value engineering strategies to optimize costs.
• Cross-check all related documents (drawings, agreements, specs) for accuracy.
• Prevent excessive or out-of-contract costs through detailed reviews.

What You Bring:

• Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical or Civil Engineering (preferred).
• 5+ years in construction or mechanical cost engineering.
• Proficiency in spreadsheets, databases, and cost management tools.
• Familiarity with AIA, MSA, and work order agreements.
• Strong communication and negotiation skills.
• Bilingual (English/Korean) a plus, but not required.
