BIM Supervisor (Piping Systems) – Commercial Construction

What You Will Be Doing

• BIM Leadership & Supervision:

  • Establish and enforce BIM standards, protocols, and procedures for Piping Systems across all projects

  • Oversee a team of BIM technicians and modelers, providing mentorship, training, and performance feedback

• Modeling & Documentation:

  • Develop and review detailed 3D models of Piping Systems using Revit, Navisworks, or similar BIM platforms

  • Ensure accurate 2D drawings and fabrication-ready documentation for construction teams

• Coordination & Communication:

  • Lead coordination meetings to identify and resolve clashes between piping, structural, and architectural models

  • Act as the primary liaison between project managers, field supervisors, and BIM team members

• Quality Assurance & Control:

  • Implement best practices for BIM data management, version control, and model validation

  • Conduct regular audits of piping models to ensure compliance with project requirements and industry standards

The Ideal Candidate

• 3–5 years of BIM coordination experience in commercial construction, with a focus on Piping Systems

• Proven supervisory experience, including team leadership and cross-disciplinary coordination

• Proficiency in Revit, AutoCAD MEP, Navisworks, and other leading BIM software

• Strong understanding of piping design principles, fabrication requirements, and industry codes

• Excellent communication, collaboration, and problem-solving abilities
