Project Site Manager- Austin, TX 

We’re hiring a Project Site Manager to lead the field execution of a semiconductor construction project in Texas. This role is responsible for managing daily construction operations, subcontractor coordination, and ensuring safety, quality, and schedule targets are met—within the fast-paced, zero-margin-for-error environment of a live or expanding fab.

You’ll oversee major facility upgrades and tool installation projects involving complex design modifications and strict cleanroom protocols. What You’ll Do:

  • Act as the on-site lead for all construction activity within assigned fab building(s)
  • Oversee subcontractors and vendors to ensure compliance with technical specs, timelines, and safety protocols
  • Coordinate with engineering, design, procurement, and commissioning teams for integrated project delivery
  • Lead daily trade meetings, manage look-ahead schedules, and track milestone progress
  • Troubleshoot field issues and resolve construction conflicts in real time
  • Maintain accurate site documentation: RFIs, redlines, safety logs, inspection reports, and issue tracking
  • Enforce strict quality control and cleanroom standards required in semiconductor environments
  • Manage tool move-ins and complex utility system tie-ins (CDA, process piping, exhaust, toxic gas)
  • Interface with commissioning and operations to support seamless turnover

What You’ll Need:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management, Engineering, Architecture, or related technical field
  • 10+ years of construction experience, including 5+ years specifically in semiconductor or high-tech fab environments
  • Deep knowledge of fab systems: HVAC, process piping, tool hookups, CDA, and contamination control
  • Experience managing live facility work and coordinating tool installations or utility upgrades
  • OSHA 30 certification (or equivalent safety credentials)
