Contract Safety Manager – Data Center Construction
Location: Council Bluffs, IA
Pay: $45–$50/hour + Overtime + $110/day Per Diem (7 days/week)

Position Overview
We are seeking a highly qualified Contract Safety Manager to support a large-scale data center construction project in Council Bluffs, Iowa. This position requires a proven safety professional with experience managing site safety for complex construction environments. Candidates must hold an OSHA 500 or OSHA 510 certification and be capable of working closely with site leadership, subcontractors, and client representatives.
Key Responsibilities
- Enforce site safety compliance in accordance with OSHA, client, and internal policies
- Conduct daily safety audits, inspections, and toolbox talks
- Lead new hire and subcontractor safety orientations
- Maintain and review job safety analyses (JSAs), logs, and reports
- Participate in incident investigations and corrective action planning
- Serve as the on-site authority for safety practices and standards
- Coordinate closely with project management and trade partners
Requirements
- OSHA 500 or OSHA 510 certification (required)
- Minimum 5 years of experience in construction safety; data center or industrial project experience preferred
- Strong understanding of OSHA standards and site safety protocols
- Excellent communication, organizational, and documentation skills
- Ability to lead in a fast-paced, multi-trade construction environment
Compensation and Schedule
- $45–$50 per hour (based on experience)
- Overtime eligible
- $110/day per diem (paid 7 days/week)
- Weekly pay with direct deposit
- Contract duration: Minimum 6 months, with potential for extension
- Immediate start available
