Mechanical BIM Designer, Fort Worth, TX 

We are hiring a Mechanical BIM Designer with experience in HVAC/Plumbing to support commercial construction projects in Fort Worth, TX. This role focuses on the design and coordination of mechanical ductwork and plumbing systems using BIM tools, requiring a solid understanding of mechanical principles and Plumbing Code.

Key Responsibilities:

• Document and provide marked-up submittals to Project Manager showing any modifications, or discrepancies related to inline duct and piping devices.
• Ability to read and understand contract drawings, specs, and submittals.
• Develop clear, dimensional HVAC and plumbing coordination drawings.
• Attend project meetings and visit job sites, as necessary.
• Collaborate with internal teams and external trades to ensure smooth coordination.
• Ensure all work aligns with project standards and schedules.

Qualifications:

• Field experience as a sheet metal mechanic, foreman, or licensed plumber
• Proficient in reading and interpreting drawings, specs, and submittals
• Proficient in Revit, NavisWorks & AutoCAD
