About the Role:
We are seeking a dynamic Employee & Labor Relations Specialist to serve as the voice of the employees, proactively engaging with staff, resolving workplace concerns, and fostering a positive employer-employee relationship. This role requires someone who is approachable, highly visible on the floor, and skilled at handling employee relations issues with professionalism and discretion.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Act as the first point of contact for employee complaints, assessing concerns and referring complex issues to HR leadership.
  • Respond to routine labor relations inquiries related to company policies and procedures.
  • Conduct initial interviews and gather information on employee relations matters, including workplace complaints, harassment allegations, and grievances.
  • Partner with leadership to identify and address ongoing performance challenges that impact employee engagement.

  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills to assess workplace issues effectively.
  • Excellent time management skills with the ability to meet deadlines.
  • Valid driver's license and acceptable motor vehicle record (required for site visits).
  • Ability to work independently and autonomously in a fast-paced environment
Key Characteristics for Success:
  • Friendly, approachable, and highly visible, this is not a desk job!
  • Naturally outgoing and engaging—think of this role as a "parade" personality who connects easily with employees.
  • Comfortable being on the floor daily, riding a bike if needed, and wearing necessary PPE.
  • Proactive in solving employee concerns and keeping leadership informed.
