Trimble Operator

Job Responsibilities:

• Perform accurate field layout using Trimble Total Station and robotic total station equipment.
• Read and interpret construction blueprints, CAD drawings, and BIM models.
• Collaborate with project managers, engineers, and field teams to ensure precise layout execution.
• Assist in quality control by verifying installed locations align with design specifications.
• Maintain Trimble equipment and ensure proper calibration.
• Document layout data and generate field reports.
• Support project workflow by troubleshooting technical issues related to Trimble systems.

Qualifications:

• Experience with Trimble Total Station or similar robotic total stations.
• Background in piping, plumbing, or mechanical field layout preferred.
• Strong computer skills with experience in AutoCAD, Revit, or Trimble software.
• Ability to read and interpret construction drawings and specifications.
• Valid driver’s license and clean driving record required.
• Excellent problem-solving and communication skills.
• Willingness to work in a fast-paced construction environment.

Preferred Skills:

• Some experience with BIM coordination and clash detection.
• Knowledge of GPS surveying and construction layout principles.
• Previous work in large-scale commercial or industrial mechanical projects.
