Job Description

Traveling MEP Assistant Project Manager

Location: Nashville, TN.

Primary Function:

Support the Project Manager in business and administrative tasks to ensure smooth planning, coordination, and execution of MEP projects within established timelines and budget constraints.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assist in project scheduling, workforce planning, and assignment of personnel.
  • Support coordination of project activities to ensure timely progress and budget adherence.
  • Identify and report potential project challenges, such as scheduling conflicts or work interferences, and assist in implementing solutions.
  • Prepare, edit, and manage project-related documentation, including reports, memos, and procedures.
  • Oversee administrative tasks, including expense reports, supply requisitions, and personnel transactions, as authorized by the supervisor.
  • Conduct research and develop special reports, studies, or statistical analyses as requested.
  • Perform additional assignments as directed by the Project Manager.

Qualifications & Experience:

  • Associate’s degree in Business, Engineering, or a related technical field.
  • 2–4 years of business or administrative experience, preferably in the MEP industry.
  • Strong organizational, communication, and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to multitask, work independently, and handle project coordination efficiently.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and project management software.
  • Willingness to travel as needed to support project operations.
