Commercial Sheet Metal Foreman – HVAC Ductwork (Atlanta Metro Area)

Job Summary:

We are seeking an experienced Commercial Sheet Metal Foreman with 5+ years of experience in HVAC ductwork installation and supervisory experience in HVAC ductwork installation for large-scale industrial and commercial projects in the Atlanta metro area. This role requires hands-on leadership, ensuring quality workmanship, safety compliance, and project efficiency on heavy industrial projects.

Key Responsibilities:

• Oversee and lead sheet metal crews in the installation of HVAC ductwork on large commercial and industrial projects.
• Interpret and enforce blueprints, specifications, and project schedules to ensure accurate installation.
• Supervise and coordinate work among team members, subcontractors, and other trades to meet project deadlines.
• Maintain a strong focus on job site safety, ensuring compliance with OSHA and company standards.
• Conduct quality control inspections to ensure all work meets industry and company standards.
• Manage materials, tools, and equipment, ensuring availability and proper use.
• Train, mentor, and evaluate team members to improve skills and efficiency.
• Communicate effectively with project managers, general contractors, and engineers to address project needs and challenges.

Qualifications:

• 5+ years of experience in commercial/industrial HVAC ductwork installation with supervisory experience.
• Strong knowledge of sheet metal fabrication, layout, and installation techniques for large-scale projects.
• Ability to read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and specifications accurately.
• Experience managing teams, scheduling work, and ensuring project efficiency.
• Strong understanding of safety protocols and OSHA compliance.
• Proficiency with HVAC tools, equipment, and materials.
• Excellent communication and leadership skills, with the ability to train and mentor team members.
• Valid driver’s license and ability to travel to job sites within the Atlanta metro area.
