Job Title: Commercial HVAC Service Technician

Location: Charlottesville, VA

Job Overview:
Service, maintain, and repair commercial HVAC systems, including chillers, heating systems, and temperature control systems.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Follow safety protocols and company processes.
  • Service and repair various HVAC systems, including:
    • Air- and water-cooled chillers (up to 100 tons)
    • Hot-water heating systems and cooling systems
    • Digital and pneumatic temperature control systems
    • Air-handling equipment and duct systems
    • Water-source heat pumps, self-contained units, and VAV systems
    • Basic maintenance on gas-fired boilers and chilled-water systems

Requirements:

  • In-depth knowledge of commercial HVAC systems, electrical systems, and low-voltage controls.
  • Ability to travel and occasionally stay overnight.
  • Valid driver’s license and ability to meet company driving qualifications.
  • Must have at least five years of commercial HVAC experience.
  • High school diploma or GED, Universal Refrigerant Card, and Gas Fitters Card required.

Pay Range: $32.00-$40.00 per hour (DOE)
