Project Manager 

Job Description:

Manage all aspects of HVAC mechanical, piping, and plumbing projects exceeding $5MM from inception to completion. Responsibilities include developing specifications, coordinating with stakeholders, ensuring compliance with codes and regulations, and optimizing project costs.

Responsibilities:
- Develop thorough understanding of project scope, specifications, and contractual requirements.
- Lead project transition from estimation to execution phase with a clear plan.
Ensure projects are delivered within agreed budget and timelines while maintaining quality standards.
- Create comprehensive project plans and communicate effectively with the project team.
- Facilitate kickoff meetings with project stakeholders, suppliers, and subcontractors.
- Coordinate engineering, design, and shop drawing efforts with department managers.
- Build strong relationships with field Superintendents to oversee project execution.
- Schedule workforce needs in collaboration with Operations Manager and HR.
- Ensure adherence to safety protocols throughout project duration.
- Implement value engineering strategies for cost-effective project management.
- Manage submittal process, RFIs, and specifications accurately and on time.
- Ensure compliance of contractors and subcontractors with project specifications.
- Direct subcontractor activities including quotations, contract awards, and scheduling.
- Procure equipment and materials ensuring timely delivery within budget constraints.
- Coordinate pre-fabrication and supplier shipments effectively.
- Maintain oversight of equipment purchases and rental expenditures.
- Generate and review status reports, management reports, and schedules.
- Manage change order processes promptly and accurately.
- Monitor project costs, prepare forecasts, and provide updates to executive management.
- Attend relevant project meetings and provide necessary input.
- Manage project cash flow and submit payment requests accurately and on time.
- Review and approve all invoices for payment.
- Ensure timely completion and accuracy of as-builts.
- Ensure compliance with warranties and contractual obligations with suppliers and customers.
- Perform additional duties as assigned.

Education:
Minimum Bachelor’s Degree in Mechanical Engineering, Construction Management, or related field. Equivalent experience of at least 5 years in HVAC, Piping, and/or Plumbing may be considered in lieu of a degree.
Completion of OSHA safety training is required.
