What You Will Be Doing

Our client is a well-respected full-service mechanical contractor, operating in the commercial and industrial sector. They are seeking a highly detail-oriented Piping QA/QC. The ideal candidate should be enthusiastic and highly motivated, with a strong understanding of welding quality assurance in the industry.

The Ideal Candidate

  • 3 to 5 years' experience in welding.
  • Knowledge of structural pipe.
  • Familiarity with flowline manufacturing.
  • Knowledge of pipe fabrication methods.
  • Excellent multi-tasking and problem-solving abilities.
  • Ability to work both independently and as a team.
  • Ability to read blueprints and schematics.

Other Essential Functions

  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Review submittals, installation, and prefab drawings.
  • Flexibility to work independently and manage time effectively.
  • Ability to work where noise levels are at or above 90 decibels.
  • Ability to lift 50 lbs.
  • Ability to stand, walk, bend, stoop, push, and pull throughout the shift.
