We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Commercial HVAC/R Technician to join our growing team. In this role, you’ll be responsible for the installation, maintenance, and repair of HVAC and refrigeration systems in commercial and industrial environments. You’ll ensure systems operate efficiently, meet code requirements, and deliver reliable performance in critical spaces like office buildings, retail centers, warehouses, and cold storage facilities.
Install commercial HVAC/R systems according to blueprints, building codes, and safety regulations.
Perform routine maintenance, inspections, and tune-ups to maximize system efficiency.
Diagnose and repair HVAC/R equipment, including troubleshooting electrical and mechanical components.
Work with various refrigeration units, including walk-in coolers, freezers, and chillers.
Respond to emergency repair requests and resolve issues quickly and professionally.
Communicate effectively with clients and team members, providing clear updates and service recommendations.
Maintain up-to-date knowledge of industry standards, tools, and technology.
Ensure compliance with all local, state, and federal environmental and safety regulations, including proper refrigerant handling.
5+ years of hands-on commercial HVAC/R experience.
Strong knowledge of HVAC/R systems, controls, and components.
EPA 608 Certification (required).
Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record.
Ability to read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical manuals.
Strong troubleshooting, problem-solving, and communication skills.
Must be able to work independently, manage time effectively, and adapt to changing priorities.
NATE certification
Experience with energy-efficient or smart building systems
Familiarity with computerized maintenance management systems (CMMS)
