Overview
As an Electrician, you will play a key role in maintaining the facility’s physical infrastructure, troubleshooting complex systems, and supporting a high-performing manufacturing environment. Key Responsibilities
- Support facility-wide electrical infrastructure and manufacturing operations
- Troubleshoot, diagnose, and repair complex electrical and electronic systems
- Read, interpret, and create electrical schematics, wiring diagrams, and blueprints
- Work with electrical, pneumatic, and hydraulic systems, as well as temperature and pressure controls
- Program and troubleshoot Programmable Logic Controllers (PLC), including ladder logic
- Design and analyze analog and digital circuits using microprocessor hardware/software configurations
- Install and maintain wiring, conduit, and electrical equipment
- Connect and maintain power supply systems across machinery and equipment
- Perform root cause analysis and implement corrective actions
- Maintain accurate maintenance records, work orders, and equipment modifications
- Ensure compliance with safety standards, GMP (Good Manufacturing Practices), and regulatory requirements
- Follow Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) for safety, quality, production, and efficiency
Required Qualifications
- High School Diploma or equivalent
- Minimum of five (5) years of experience diagnosing and repairing electrical equipment or machinery (or equivalent technical training)
- Ability to read and interpret wiring diagrams, schematics, and blueprints
- Experience programming PLCs using basic and ladder logic
- Strong understanding of the National Electrical Code (NEC)
- Advanced knowledge of:
- Electrical systems
- Pneumatics and hydraulics
- Industrial controls and instrumentation
- Strong mechanical aptitude and troubleshooting skills
