Department: Architecture
This role plays a key part in designing and managing K–12 educational projects across Michigan. The ideal candidate combines technical expertise, creativity, and client relationship skills, contributing to current projects while supporting future business development efforts.
Lead and participate in all phases of K–12 and higher education project design and execution, from concept through construction
Interpret and apply Michigan (SED) requirements for public school projects
Ensure compliance with SED procedures and stay current with updates and protocols
Collaborate closely with clients, developing trusted relationships and ensuring alignment with project vision and goals
Engage in business development activities, identifying new client needs, attending presentations, and contributing to strategic planning
Licensed Architect in Michigan
5–10 years of architectural experience, with a focus on K–12 and higher education facilities
Strong knowledge of Michigan Education Department (SED) procedures for public schools
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, including experience in client-facing roles
Proven ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines effectively
