Description:

We are seeking a Structural Engineer to support infrastructure and transportation projects through design, technical analysis, and construction oversight. This role involves collaboration with multidisciplinary teams, clients, and contractors to deliver high-quality engineering solutions that meet industry standards and regulatory requirements.



Responsibilities/skills:
  • Utilize engineering software to design, draft, detail, and modify project plans in accordance with company specifications.
  • Ensure project compliance with industry standards, codes, and regulations.
  • Evaluate, select, and apply standard engineering techniques and procedures.
  • Review designs for compliance with applicable codes and specifications.
  • Clarify and resolve technical and on-site issues.
  • Collaborate with clients, contractors, and project managers throughout the project lifecycle.
  • Perform construction oversight and on-site observation for infrastructure and transportation projects.
  • Prepare reports, construction records, and technical documentation.
  • Provide technical support for proposals and presentations as needed.
  • Assist Project Managers with cost information and project documentation when requested.


Qualifications:
  • Bachelor of Science degree from an ABET-accredited university (required).
  • 5+ years of relevant experience (required).
  • Ability to obtain and maintain required certifications, including:
    • Nuclear Density Gauge Certification
    • Aggregate, concrete, and density testing certifications
      (Preference given to candidates with current certifications.)
  • Engineer in Training (EIT) certification (preferred).
