Seeking a customer-focused Applications Engineer with strong mechanical engineering expertise and consultative problem-solving skills. This role supports engineered equipment solutions by evaluating needs, developing technical proposals, and guiding projects through the sales and implementation lifecycle.

Responsibilities: 

• Conduct site visits to evaluate equipment and system requirements and develop technical solutions

• Create conceptual designs and CAD models for equipment configurations and custom systems

• Prepare cost estimates, quotes, and detailed technical proposals

• Collaborate with engineering, manufacturing, and purchasing teams to confirm feasibility, pricing, and lead times

• Serve as the primary technical contact throughout the sales cycle, including support during installation and commissionins

• Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering (or equivalent experience) with 5+ years in industrial equipment or engineered systems

• Experience with estimating, quoting, and technical proposal development

• Proficiency in CAD (AutoCAD and/or Inventor preferred)

• Strong understanding of manufacturing processes and industrial standards (OSHA, ANSI, ISO)

• Excellent communication skills with the ability to explain technical concepts to diverse audiences
