Description: Our Health Information Technology Services team is seeking a technically strong Project Manager to support the rollout of a new credit card device across clinics. This project involves coordinating with clinic managers, IT staff, and HITS analysts to ensure seamless installation and workstation readiness, including possible network port additions. This position is part time and can offer 20 hours a week. Remote for Local: Brighton, Northville, Ypsilanti, Ann Arbor- MichiganResponsibilities/skills:
- Lead and manage the implementation plan for the new credit card device rollout across multiple clinical sites.
- Serve as the main point of contact between the HITS team, clinic managers, and technical teams.
- Coordinate workstation preparation and confirm hardware/network readiness for deployment.
- Oversee scheduling, communication, and issue tracking throughout the rollout process.
- Collaborate with IT and network teams for any new port installation requirements.
- Maintain project documentation, timelines, and progress reports.
- Identify and escalate technical issues or deployment risks as needed.
- Prior experience in healthcare IT, HITS, or technical project coordination required.
- Strong technical aptitude comfortable working with devices, networking, and clinical IT setups.
- Exceptional organizational and communication skills.
- Proven ability to work independently and manage multiple stakeholders remotely.
- PMP or similar project management experience preferred but not required.
